when I wish you cared for me,
when my body seems to crack apart
and control is partly taken away
I am the one watching the one
- also me - whose parts are let loose
and floating,
like crying it feels.
It is at one of these moments
that I wish for your face to rise
for shiny black pools to be the eyes
and somewhere between
the nose and the jawline
for a fixed point to hold on to
